1. General Return Conditions
The following conditions apply to all returns regardless of market:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
- Products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible.
- Customised or personalised products cannot be returned unless faulty.
- For hygiene reasons, base layers and sports bras can only be returned if unopened and in original sealed packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) must be included with the return.
2. European Union
Legal Basis
Returns for EU customers are governed by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and applicable national consumer law. You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
How to Return (EU)
- Contact us at post@zu4r.no within 14 days of delivery to initiate your return.
- We will confirm your return request and provide the return address.
- Package your item securely. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Refunds (EU)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and function of the goods.
Exchanges (EU)
If you would like a different size or colour, please indicate this when contacting us. Subject to stock availability, we will process an exchange. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
3. United Kingdom
Legal Basis
Returns for UK customers are governed by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods without providing a reason.
How to Return (UK)
- Contact us at post@zu4r.no within 14 days of delivery to notify us of your cancellation.
- You then have a further 14 days from the date of notification to return the item to us.
- We will confirm your return request and provide the return address.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Refunds (UK)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Standard UK import duties and VAT are included in your original purchase price and will be refunded where applicable.
Exchanges (UK)
If you would like a different size or colour, please indicate this when contacting us. Subject to stock availability, we will process an exchange. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
4. Norway
Legal Basis
Returns for Norwegian customers are governed by the Angrerettloven (Right of Withdrawal Act). You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order without giving a reason.

5. Japan
Legal Basis
Returns for Japanese customers are governed by the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法, Tokutei Shōtorihiki-hō). ZU4R Sportswear offers a 14-day return window for Japanese customers, which exceeds the statutory minimum under Japanese law. Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided the product has not been used and is in its original condition.
How to Return (Japan)
- Contact us at post@zu4r.no within 14 days of delivery to initiate your return.
- Please include your order number and the reason for return.
- We will confirm your return request and provide the return address.
- Package your item securely using a tracked shipping service. We recommend Japan Post (レターパック or ゆうパック) or a courier of your choice.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Refunds (Japan)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please note that international bank transfer fees, if applicable, may be deducted from the refund amount.
Customs & Import Duties (Japan)
ZU4R Sportswear ships to Japan via DHL Express with customs and import duties handled at checkout. If duties or taxes were charged at the time of purchase, these will not be refunded as they are collected by Japanese customs authorities and are outside ZU4R's control. We recommend consulting with your local customs office for any duty reclaim process.
Exchanges (Japan)
If you would like a different size or colour, please indicate this when contacting us. Subject to stock availability, we will process an exchange. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be issued. Please note that re-shipment to Japan may take 5–10 business days via DHL Express.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at post@zu4r.no with the following information:
- Your order number
- A description of the fault or error
- Photographs of the item clearly showing the issue
ZU4R Sportswear AS will cover the cost of return shipping and will offer a full replacement, exchange, or refund at your preference. This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Customised or personalised products (e.g. team jerseys with custom names or numbers)
- Opened base layers or sports bras (for hygiene reasons)
- Items that have been visibly worn, washed, or damaged after delivery
- Items returned without original tags or packaging
8. How to Start a Return
- Email post@zu4r.no with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
- Our team will respond within 2 business days with confirmation and return instructions.
- Ship the item to the address below. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.
- Once received and inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed within 1-2 days.
